Prestige T1 Sylas
Every year players from the League of Legends World Championship winning roster help shape the direction of a commemorative skin line.
T1 won for the 5th time in 2025 with memorable MVP performances from Faker (Lee Sang-hyeok), particularly as Sylas in Game 4. Creatively, the team’s goal for these skins was to represent T1’s journey to overcome overwhelming expectations and pressure to dominate the arena. For Sylas in particular, Faker wanted to explore the concept of a champion who emerged victorious from darkness.
Prestige Tier skins must evoke an elevated status as compared to our typical Epic Tier skins. In the case of T1 Sylas, we invested more heavily in elevated materials on his chains and ambient and ability VFX as compared to other epics skins included in the same release. Additionally he was only available for purchase in the Mythic Shop.
Skin Bio: Heavy was T1’s crown, for many sought to take the Summoner's Cup from the reigning kings. On the world stage, before the doubtful and the faithful, BLG brought T1 to the brink. But the Demon King refused to be defeated and Sylas rose to do his will. With teeth bared and chains broken, T1 proved their dynasty unkillable. Unquestionable, Unparalleled.
In-Game Concept Renders
3D Turnarounds
R Ability (Hijack) VFX Concept - Sylas steals the enemy's ultimate ability and can cast it freely.
Passive (Petricite Burst) VFX Concept - After casting a spell, Sylas stores a charge. Sylas's basic attacks will expend this charge and whirl his energized chains around him dealing bonus magic damage to enemies hit. While Sylas has this charge, he gains attack speed.
Q Ability (Chain Lash) VFX Concept - Sylas lashes his chains out, intersecting at his targeted location dealing damage to and slowing enemies. After a delay, magical energy explodes from the intersection point dealing damage.
W Ability (Kingslayer) VFX Concept - Sylas lunges at an enemy with magical force dealing damage and healing himself against enemy champions.
E Ability (Abscond / Abduct) VFX Concept - Sylas dashes to a location. Sylas can recast the ability to throw his chains out, pulling himself to an enemy he hits.
